Day 1: Vientiane - Arrival  (D)

 

Upon arrival, you are met and transferred to your centrally located hotel. After a short rest, you start to visit the major sights of the capital; including the oldest Wat Sisaket with thousands of miniature Buddha statues and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo which previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. On the way to the famous and sacred structure of That Luang Stupa, you stop to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is well known as Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph. Day 2: Vientiane - Luang prabang (B/L)

 

You are provided with a breakfast at hotel and a transfer to the airport for your flight to Luangprabang. There you spend the day touring Lao capital, visiting the National Museum (Revolutionary Museum) where varied antique items and legend of Laos’s history fighters and leaders displace from the ancient times to the new revolution period. You then board a short flight to Luang Prabang, which is perhaps the best-preserved traditional city in Southeast Asia. UNESCO registered it in 1995 as the World Cultural Heritage City. The tranquility and charm of this town with its splendid natural scenery and cultural sights make it one of the most delightful places to visit in Asia. Upon arrival, we transfer you to your hotel. After a short rest, you stroll around to visit the Street Night Market, where you can find the lovely collection and handmade textile by local and hill tribe people surrounding Luang Prabang, you then climb up to the top of Phousi Mount for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as viewing a beautiful panorama sunset over this once royal ancient city and the Mekong River. Day 3: Luang prabang - Pak Ou Cave (B/L)

 

After breakfast, you enjoy a short-guided tour seeing the city’s oldest temple of impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham, Wat Mai, Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, which represent the classical architecture of Luang Prabang temple. You then board a boat embarking upstream on the Mekong River, giving us a beautiful view of the tranquil countryside as well as an interesting visit to the mysterious Pak Ou Caves, crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes. Along the way, you stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, where they make the local rice wine. On return, You take a short drive to Ban Phanom, well known for its hand weaving. Day 4: Luang prabang - Hanoi (B/L)

 You may want to wake up early and participate in the daily early morning ritual of saffron-clad monks with their black Alms-giving bowls being given offerings from the local people, including the ubiquitous sticky rice. This is the highlight of the tour prior to the goodbye to this charming city.
After breakfast, you visit The National Museum at the former Royal Palace, which displays a lovely collection of the artifacts reflecting the richness of Lao culture dating from the days of the early kings until the last sovereign. You then visit at the silver smith’s and Fine Arts School and the Central Market are not to be missed. Day 5: Hanoi city tour (B/L)

 

You start the day at 8:00am from your hotel by car to visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum, the One pillar pagoda and the Tran Quoc pagoda. After lunch, we visit the Temple of Literature, the first university of Vietnam, the Army museum (however, the Art museum, History museum, Women museum are at your choosing). We then visit the Hanoi Flag Tower, stride around the magnificent Hoan Kiem lake and visit Ngocson Temple. You are then transferred to the airport, taking the flight to Hue. Day 6: Hanoi – Halong bay (B/L/D)

 

You leave Hanoi at 8:00am for Halong Bay, on arrival at Halong city at about 11:30am, where you hop on a private boat and have seafood lunch on the boat while the boat cruises caves, grottoes, floating villages, and beaches. You then stop to visit Surprise Caves, one of the biggest, richest caves in Halong Bay. You complete the cruise at about 3:30pm and drive back to Hanoi to end the trip at 7:00pm.

Day 7: Halong - Hanoi - Hue (B/L)
  

In the morning, you take a cruise to Bai Tu long Bay, Fire island, Bo Nau island, and the fishing village. You have lunch on the cruise and arrive at Ha long wharf at around 12:00pm. You return to Hanoi by car and then leave for the airport for flight to Hue. Overnight in Hue... 

Day 8: Hue city tour (B/L/D)

 The tour begins with Thien Mu Pagoda and then onto King Khai Dinh Tomb and King Tu Duc Tomb. You return to Hue for lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, you visit the majestic Imperial Citadel, after which we will have a typical but delicious Vietnamese dinner and enjoy Vietnamese traditional folk song on boat on the Perfume River. Day 9: Hue - Myson - Hoian (B/L)

 We take a morning drive to Hoi An through the Hai Van Pass to arrive at Lang Co beach – one of the most beautiful beaches of Vietnam. Day 12: Hochiminh city tour - Cu Chi tunnel (B/L)

 

We start the day with a visit to the Cu Chi tunnel, an incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during their long struggle for independence. Day 13: Hochiminh - Mekong delta - Cantho (B/L)

 

We start the tour at 8:00am from your hotel and after two hours of driving through the green rice paddy fields stretching towards the horizon, we arrive at the Caibe floating market. Upon arrival, we hop on a private boat to visit Cai Be, the floating market where sellers and buyers bargain and exchange their goods from their boats. We then ride on the maze of shady canals to visit the An Binh islands, where we enjoy the local tropical fruits and view how local people cultivate their orchards, make their livings from ceramics, popcorn, and rice paper. We then have a great opportunity of bicycle riding, roaming through the village and visiting the local handicraft shops. Day 14: Cantho - Hochiminh (B/L)
  

After breakfast, we cruise along the small and picturesque tributaries by the rowing boats to the Cai Rang - Phong Dien floating market. We enjoy the beautiful scenery and take part in the daily activities of the locals who live along the Mekong canals and roam through the village to visit a rice husking mill and a rice noodle making shop before finally returning to Hochiminh. Day 15: Hochiminh city - Phnom penh (B)

 

We take a morning visit to the Notre Dame Cathedral, Reunification Palace, passing China town and then driving to the airport for flight to Phnom penh. Our guide and coach will pick you up at Phnom Penh International airport and transfer you to the hotel for your check in. We enjoy a traditional lunch at a local restaurant. During the afternoon, we will transfer to visit the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda, the Preahkeo Morokot, the National Museum and finally the Central Market.

Day 16: Phnom penh - Siem reap (B/L)

 

 After a breakfast at the hotel, we transfer to Phnom Penh International airport for the flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival you are transferred to the hotel to check in. We enjoy a filling lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we transfer to visit the famous temple of Cambodia, Angkor Wat while take a view at the romantic sunset from the top of Bakheng Hill. You have breakfast at the hotel and then transfer to visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphoun, Terrace of Elephants, Terrace of Leper King and then the Phimean Akas temple before having lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we transfer to visit other notable Angkor Ruins, Thommanom, Chao Say Tevoda, Takeo, Taprom, Bunteay Kday and finally ending the day with Sras Srong. Overnight in Siem reap...

Day 18: Siem reap – Departure (B/L)

 

You enjoy a morning breakfast at hotel before transferring to visit Chantier Ecole-Artisant d’Angkor, the place of the Ministry of Education, created in 1992 and renowned for woodworking, stone carving and as a polychrome training center and workshop. Free tours of the classes and workshops offer glimpses into Cambodian artistry. After the visit, we have lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, you are given the opportunity to go shopping at the old market until the suitable time to transfer to the airport for your final flight departure, marking the end of this unforgettable trip.
