Upon arrival, you embark on a private boat cruising around the islands, islets, caves, and grottoes of Halong Bay. You enjoy a seafood lunch on the boat and then take a short excursion to Surprising Cave to go for a short swim (if weather permitted). Afterwards, you are driven back to Hanoi at around 7:30pm. Afterwards, you visit Van Mieu, the first national university of Vietnam and continue to the Ethnology museum. In the late afternoon, you take flight to the Imperial City; Hue City. You then stop to visit Cham museum which houses the open air collection of Cham sculpture with many of the sandstone carvings to understand Cham Culture. You then have some spare time for shopping or relaxing on the bank of Thu Bon river before taking late your afternoon flight to Ho Chi Minh city. You are then driven to Tay Ninh to visit the famous Cao Dai Temple to attend the noon service of the bizarre Cao Dai sect - an extraordinary mix of all the world's great religions, including Buddhism; Taoism; Confucianism; Hinduism; Christianity; and Islam. After, you proceed to Cuchi to visit the basement of the Vietnamese Army, a system of tunnels to understand how people lived, struggled, and won the war. Finally, you return to Ho Chi Minh City in the late afternoon. Upon arrival at Cai Be, you enjoy the local lifestyle while on a boat navigating around the small canals in the delta region. You observe the floating market where sellers and buyers bargain and exchange their goods from their boats. There, you are able to roam around and observe how people make their living from raw material such as coconut, corn and other local product. You spend the day at the Delta until late afternoon, when you return to Ho Chi Minh City.
