The “Vietnam at a Glimpse” tour provides you with a chance to discover the different fantastic landscapes and cultures of Vietnam; friendly people, exotic cuisine, the bustling cities of Hanoi with its museums rich in art and culture, the famous puppet theatre, and Hochiminh city. Along the trip you will explore the wonders of Halong Bay and the Myson Holy Land. Feel free to relax after your long journey. In the evening, you attend the Water Puppet Show and enjoy a welcome dinner with traditional music and a show. Overnight in Hanoi... | | Day 2: | | Halong bay – the World heritage (B/L) |  | | You leave Hanoi at 8:00am for Halong Bay, The World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty on the ocean. Upon arrival, you embark on a private boat cruising around the islands, islets, caves, and grottoes of Halong Bay. You enjoy a seafood lunch on the boat and then take a short excursion to Surprising Cave to go for a short swim (if weather permitted). Afterwards, you are driven back to Hanoi at around 7:30pm. Overnight in Hanoi... | | Day 3: | | Hanoi - Hue (B/L) |  | | You start the day by visiting Hoan Kiem lake, the lake of the Restored Sword, with Asian architecture and way of life as well as small streets and its name "Old quarter". You proceed to visit Tran Quoc pagoda and Quan Thanh temple before having Lunch at a local restaurant. Afterwards, you visit Van Mieu, the first national university of Vietnam and continue to the Ethnology museum. In the late afternoon, you take flight to the Imperial City; Hue City. Overnight in Hue... | | Day 4: | | Hue (B/L/D) | | | | You start the day with a visit to the Imperial Citadel, King Minh Mang tomb, King Tu Duc Tomb, and Thien Mu Pagoda. You then embark a boat cruising along Perfume river to admire sunset and enjoy a Royal diner with Vietnamese traditional folk song. Overnight in Hue... | | Day 5: | | Hue - Danang - Hoian (B/L) |  | | You are driven to Hoian town, about 120km from Hue, through the Hai Van Pass to Marble moutain, China beach and finally Lang Co beach; one of the most beautiful beach of Vietnam. You then stop to visit Cham museum which houses the open air collection of Cham sculpture with many of the sandstone carvings to understand Cham Culture. Overnight in Hoi An... | | Day 6: | | Hoian - Danang - Hochiminh City (B/L) |  | | In the morning, you take a walk to visit the remote and ancient town Hoi An, which features Japanese covered bridge, Chinese Assembly Halls, and typical Vietnamese houses of the 18th century. You then have some spare time for shopping or relaxing on the bank of Thu Bon river before taking late your afternoon flight to Ho Chi Minh city. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city... | | Day 7: | | Hochiminh City (B/L) | | | | The day begins with a visit to Reunification Palace, War Musuem, and Notre Dame Cathedral. After lunch, you continue to visit Binh Tay Market, Thien Hau Pagoda, and the bustling Chinatown which should not be missed. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City... | | Day 8: | | Tayninh - Cuchi (B/L) |  | | You start the day by visiting Tay Ninh and Cu Chi. You are then driven to Tay Ninh to visit the famous Cao Dai Temple to attend the noon service of the bizarre Cao Dai sect - an extraordinary mix of all the world's great religions, including Buddhism; Taoism; Confucianism; Hinduism; Christianity; and Islam. After, you proceed to Cuchi to visit the basement of the Vietnamese Army, a system of tunnels to understand how people lived, struggled, and won the war. Finally, you return to Ho Chi Minh City in the late afternoon. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City... | | Day 9: | | Hochiminh city - Mekong Delta (B/L) |  | | You leave the busy city for the Mekong delta region. Upon arrival at Cai Be, you enjoy the local lifestyle while on a boat navigating around the small canals in the delta region. You observe the floating market where sellers and buyers bargain and exchange their goods from their boats. There, you are able to roam around and observe how people make their living from raw material such as coconut, corn and other local product. You spend the day at the Delta until late afternoon, when you return to Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City... | | Day 10 | | Hochiminh city - Departure (B) | | | | You receive free time to go shopping to be able to purchase something for this unforgettable trip, or to simply have optional visits in the city, before transferring to Tan Son Nhat airport for departure and marking the end of this long journey in Vietnam. |
