You will depart from the international gateway of CANADA by your preferred
airlines today and fly across the North Pole. [For passengers departs from

October 17, 2010 Shanghai
At 15:15PM – local time, AC87 will land in Shanghai, the economic heart of
China. Upon arrival, you will be greeted at the airport and transferred to your
hotel.

October 18, 2010 Shanghai – Tunxi (AB, L, D)
Your first day of sightseeing in Shanghai will start from the Bund. Along the
waterfront you will see the European-Style architecture of the buildings that
once housed the institutions of the colonial powers in the 19th century.
Followed program will be a visit to the Old Town and walk down its narrow lanes
past traditional buildings to the once private Yu Yuan Gardens. You will end
your full-day sightseeing tour with a stop at the Jade Buddha Temple.
A late afternoon flight will bring you to Tunxi – the foot of Yellow Mountain.
There will be a tour guide waiting for you at Tunxi airport.

In the early morning, drive to the foot of Huangshan, and board a cable car for
the summit. Known for its knurled and knotted pine trees, its rugged rock
formations, and its mist shrouded vistas, Huangshan has inspired poets and
painters for more than a thousand years. The views of the surrounding
countryside, with traditional villages and rice paddies, are some of the most
beautiful in China. You will have 2 days private time on top of the mountains.
You may hike or enjoy a unique quite moment by observing the breath-taken
sunrise scenery.

October 20, 2010 Yellow Mountain (AB, L, D)
Enjoy a spectacular sunrise above a sea of clouds and then take in the West Sea
and North Sea panoramas. For 2 entire days, you will explore the mountain via

October 21, 2010 Tunxi / Shanghai (AB, L, D)
This morning you'll have some more time to enjoy the spectacular scenery and
then you'll take the cable car back down the mountain. You will visit the
ancient towns nearby where most of the dwellings date to the Ming and Qing
dynasties. HONG County is a small village with 800 years history and it is
famous for producing the best ink-stone (or ink-slab) in the whole Chinese
history. In the late afternoon, be escorted back to the airport, you will go
back to Shanghai and check-in the same hotel.

October 22, 2010 Shanghai EXPO (ABF, D)
For the entire day, you will tour the EXOP 2010 Shanghai [May 01 – October 31,
2010] site at the waterfront area on both side of the Huangpu River, there you
will tour more than 50 countries pavilions. Tonight, you are sure to enjoy the
amazing contortion and acrobatic show in Ritz Carlton Hotel.
October 23, 2010 Shanghai / Yichang (ABF, L, D)
In the morning, you will make a visit the Shanghai National Museum. There you
will find artifacts that span the length of China’s history, and enliven its
cultural traditions. A special farewell dinner features local flavor will be
booked for you in The Green Wave Pavilion Restaurant – right inside the Yu
Garden. Take an late evening flight to Yichang and pre-board the cruise ship.

October 24, 2010 Yangtze River Cruise (AB, L, D)
You will start your spectacular cruise up the mighty Yangtze River and relax on
the deck or in the lounge to enjoy the spectacular view of Yangtze River. This
morning enjoy a shore excursion to the Three Gorges Dam site, where you'll have
a birds-eye view of this awe-inspiring engineering feat. Continue sailing
upstream through the Three Gorges Dam and the XILING Gorge today.
October 25, 2010 Yangtze River Cruise (AB, L, D)
Enjoy a mid-day excursion to either Shennong Stream or the Danning River of
Lesser Three Gorges, depending on river conditions. This afternoon you'll pass
the WU Gorge and QUTANG Gorge. Optional excursion is to the White Emperor City
(river condition permitting).
October 26, 2010 Yangtze River Cruise (AB, L, D)
You will have two shore excursions to Fengdu Ghost Town, Shibaozhai Village or
Wanzhou.
October 27, 2010 Chongqing / Chengdu (AB, L, D)
You will disembark from the cruise ship at 9:00AM; followed will be a brief tour
in Chongqing will include the People’s Square, the headquarters of General
Joseph Warren Stilwell during World War II.
After lunch time, take an express train to go to Chengdu - the capital city of
SICHUAN. Upon arrival, you will meet your local tour guide for your transfer to
the hotel.
In the afternoon, you will visit the Du Jiang Irrigation Project – the project
was begun by Li Bing, king of west Sichuan, in 256 B.C. and completed by his
son, Er Lang. The project has been maintained and expanded ever since, and it is
perhaps one of the world's oldest irrigation schemes in continuous use today.
If time permits, another highlight will be a one day tour to the Panda Breeding
Centre in Chengdu. In 1980, a massive effort to study and assist the Giant Panda
took place in Sichuan Province and initially lasted for 5 years. The effort was
a joint effort by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and the Chinese Government.
Enjoy a special local flavor dinner – Sichuan Snack Food.

October 28, 2010 Chengdu / Jiuzhaigou (AB, L, D)
A morning flight will bring you to Jiuzhaigou. Jiuzhaigou (“9 villages’ valley”)
is about 400 km north of Chengdu. It is of carbonate barrier lake landform of
high mountains and deep valleys. There are 9 ancient Tibetan villages in the
valley, which is the name came from. Jiuzhaigou scenic area is 80 km long and
covers an area of 60,000 hectares. It is a unique tourist resort of mastery and
varied beautiful scenery, an unpopulated nature “world of fairy tales”. The
Emerald Lake, terraced waterfalls, colorful woods, snow-clad peaks and Tibetan
amorous culture are reputed as Five Unique Marvels. This fairyland remained
undiscovered by human being for millions of years until 1970. In 1992, it was
selected by UNESCO as one of the World Natural Heritage. You will explore the
whole valley today.

October 29, 2010 Jiuzhaigou / Huanglong (ABF, L, D)
Connected to the Jiuzhaigou, Huanglong is under the jurisdiction of Song Pan
County in Sichuan Province. Let’s quote the conclusion from the Director of the
Western National Park Administration of the United States: “… In Huanglong, we
could find the Snow Mountains can be seen in Alberta, the primitive forests of
Wyoming, the canyons of Colorado, the colorful travertine lakes of the
Yellowstone National Park. Very few places in this world are in the possession
of so many kinds of natural scenery…” You will tour along the Huanglong area
with a private vehicle today, walking through at least one village.
October 30, 2010 Jiuzhaigou / Chengdu (AB, L, D)
After breakfast, fly back to Chengdu, upon arrival, you will visit the Du Fu
Cottage; the Thatched Cottage of Du Fu is located at the side of the Flower
Washing Brook in the western suburbs of Chengdu. The cottage is the former
residence of the famous Tang Dynasty poet, Du Fu. During his stay of nearly four
years, he composed more than 240 poems reflecting upon the misery of the people.
In addition, you will also visit the Shrine of Wu Marquis.
October 31, 2010 Chengdu / Zhangjiajie (AB, L, D)
You will fly to Changsha and be transferred to Zhangjiajie today .The new name
of Zhangjiajie City was adopted in 1994, after the National Forest Park in the
Wulingyuan Scenic Area (武陵源) in order to give it more prominence and after this
site had been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1992. The National
Forest Park had been given the name of Zhangjiajie after the name of a small
village located within its bounds, and now a popular tourist attraction within
the park.

November 01, 2010 Zhangjiajie (AB, L, D)
Your tour will be within the Wulinyuan Scenic and Historic Interest Area. The
entire zone comprises the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, the Tianzishan (天子山)
mountain ranges, BaoFengHu (宝峰湖) and the Suoxi Valley (索溪峪), and is a very
popular filming and tourist destination. Also in the Zhangjiajie area,
Huanglongdong (黄龙洞) and Longwangdong (龙王洞) are caves known for many natural rock
formations (much like Wulingyuan) and its underground cataract.
November 02, 2010 Zhangjiajie / Changsha / Hong Kong (AB, L)
Continue your unfinished tour in Zhangjiajie and after lunch time, you will be
transferred back to Changsha Airport for your flight with Dragon Air to Hong
Kong. Dragon Air KA721 Changsha / Hong Kong 20:05PM / 21:50PM.
